Organized in 2006, Interlace Medical, Inc. is focused on designing and developing devices for the Interventional Gynecologist to perform office-based procedures to treat diseases and conditions traditionally requiring surgery in the operating room. Until recently, office-based procedural growth has been hampered by the lack of technology and reimbursement. In recent years several office-based gynecology procedures have received favorable reimbursement rates (Sterilization and Endometrial Ablation). Nonetheless, a need persists for safer, less invasive gynecology procedures that can be performed in an office setting. Interlace intends to meet this need with cost effective, technologically advanced devices that improve patient care, reduce cost and improve physician efficiency.
